I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – walking across the Brooklyn Bridge towards Manhattan is one of my favorite New York City activities! It’s the one thing I always recommend to anyone visiting the City. It’s especially beautiful on a crisp fall day watching the sun set over the skyline. I’m a summer girl myself but I love the first few weeks of fall when it’s still warm but the air has a slight chill. I love wearing a dress or skirt with ankle boots and a light jacket. This is one of my favorite looks for the season. I splurged on this Alice + Olivia skirt I scored on sale during the Bloomingdale’s Friends & Family sale. I paired the skirt with my favorite new boots I bought at DNA Footwear in Brooklyn and a black bodysuit from Brandy Melville. I also love this new jacket from Madewell. I’ve been looking for a Military Surpluss style jacket for a while but I’ve never found one that’s super flattering. I found this ‘Fleet Jacket‘ at Madewell and I’m in love!
