Last weekend I had the pleasure of going on a mini ‘staycation’ with Jockey at the Even Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn. It was a perfect way to recharge in my own city and get to know some awesome NYC based bloggers. When we arrived at the hotel, we each picked out our favorite workout gear from Jockey. I fell in love with their activewear cropped leggings with bright green detailing and matching bra. As the weather is changing I also picked up a long sleeve activewear tee with mesh back inserts and a perfect zip-up jacket in grey and black. After choosing our looks, we tested them out by getting our sweat on at Tangerine Hot Yoga. The teacher had such an incredible energy and I really enjoyed the class. I left feeling more light and liber! We had some down time to really enjoy the hotel as well. They cater to young professionals who want to stay active and healthy while traveling. All the rooms they have are outfitted with workout equipment including resistance bands and a fitness ball so you have no excuse not to get a little exercise in during your stay. That evening we had dinner at Mr. Purple at the Ludlow Hotel. This is one of my favorite stops because they have great food, drinks and an incredible view of the city. The next morning we got our HIIT on with Coach Hollis at the hotel’s expansive wellness center. It was a mix of interval running on the treadmill and strength training with weights. After a great sweat session we had brunch at one of my favorite places in Brooklyn, French Louie. Their Avocado Tartine and Creme Brulee french toast are among my favorite brunch foods in all of BK. All in all it was an awesome weekend! Special thanks to Jockey x Even Hotels for hosting us and sponsoring this post!
