My first winter in New York was definitely the toughest. I was certainly not ready for the freezing temps and endless chill. But what I really didn’t consider was the toll on my skin. My skin is quite dry already and in the winter it really starts to show with dry patches and itchiness. I used to let it keep me inside during the winter months but once I learned to take better care of my skin I have fallen back in love with all my favorite chilly-weather activities. Just before Christmas I went ice-skating with Noelle of Noelle’s Favorite Things in Rockefeller Center. It was SO much fun! If you’ve never seen skating in New York I highly recommend it. Now I want to try the Bryant Park and Wollman Rink in Central Park! After a day of skating fun I headed home and took a long relaxing shower. Then, I applied the Vaseline Intensive Care advanced repair. I’ve updated my routine to include this ultra rich yet non-greasy moisturizer that really helps to repair and revitalize my skin which is especially sensitive after being outside. It’s actually clinically proven to heal very dry skin in just 5 days. I also like that it’s also unscented so I can add my fragrance after applying. If you have very dry skin I highly recommend checking out Vaseline Intensive Care advanced Repair.
