Noelle and I had a fabulous day shooting in Central Park and enjoying the unseasonably warm weather we’re having here in the City. For the outfit, I wanted to create a sweet almost twee look that felt retro and modern all at once. I paired a polka dot blouse with a black pleated skirt and topped it with this lovely pink coat from Boden. The pink just livens the whole mood of the outfit! My favorite part of this outfit, however, are the accessories. Embellished mary-janes that feel oh-so-vintage plus a silver camera cross body from Kate Spade are the perfect dash of sweet and kitsch for this cheerful look. I had been eyeing that camera bag for weeks now, in fact I actually found it looking for actual camera bags to hold my new Canon 5D Mark ii. I finally took the plunge and gifted it to myself as a little pre-holiday treat! I’m so excited to be going home next Monday to spend 10 wonderful days with my family for Christmas. Can’t wait to share a bit of my Kentucky Home with y’all while I’m there.
