A few weeks back I had the opportunity to attend my first New York Bridal Fashion Week thanks to Allure Bridals. I’ve never been totally wedding crazy, but I do certainly have an inspiration board for that special day on Pinterest. Spending the day amongst the gorgeous lace, taffeta and silk was like living in a nuptial daydream. I had so much fun seeing the newest trends and getting a behind the scenes to look at some of the most beautiful gowns of the year. My favorites had a retro, romantic feel like the dress the second photo. I absolutely adore the lace overlay and cap sleeves with the silk skirt and adorable yet understated bow belt. Another trend I adored was the raw scalloped lace on many of the dresses that felt both whimsical yet modern. The pink and rose toned dresses also had my heart with such a romantic vibe without being over the top. I guess it’s back to reality now but I’ll be pinning more of my favorite wedding fantasies over on Pinterest. Thanks again for having me and sponsoring this post, Allure Bridals!
