I’m back in the Big Apple after a lovely long vacation visiting family in California and then heading down to Nashville for my friend June’s baby shower. I had such an amazing time visiting my old city after 3 years away (I went to college in Nashville at Belmont University 2008-2012). I was amazed to see how much the city has grown and developed in three short years. I decided to do a little tour of my old and new favorite spots, starting with Las Paletas. This popsicle shop has the most delicious flavors like hibiscus, Mexican caramel, avocado and my favorite, cantaloupe (featured above) among others. For the look, I couldn’t help but wear my popsicle dress (currently $21) paired with my favorite J.Crew Sandals and new hat from local Nashville shop, imogene + willie. Now located in the ultra-hip 12th South neighborhood at 2199 12 S Ave in Nashville, TN.
