Last weekend I spent an amazing few days in Shelter Island with friends. We had such a blast enjoying the warm weather, gorgeous sunsets and great food. The Island is just a hop, skip and a ferry ride from the City about 2 and a half hours east. My friend Jen, the food blogger behind Lorimer Kitchen, found the amazing rental on VRBO complete with a lap pool, large open deck and private beach access! We went as a group of 6 and had an amazing time checking out the local scene on bikes by day and enjoying cocktails and yummy dinners at night. It was so lovely to relax and unwind with friends in a gorgeous location for a long weekend!
