I love finding ways to make the people I love happy so when Kipling asked me to be a part of their Kipling Make Happy campaign, I was excited to jump on board. Kipling makes incredibly versatile and playful bags and I gravitated toward the Penelopie Tote in a beige with whimsical floral detailing – perfect for a weekend of fun. With my bag and camera in toe, I decided to really ‘make happy’ by surprising my best friend Michelle in Philadelphia for her birthday and capturing the entire weekend in photos! On Friday after work I took the train from NYC to Philly with Michelle’s and my friend Emma and surprised her in her office. The weekend was full of fun activities and lots of delicious food. We went to my absolute favorite Philly spot, Federal Donuts for a brunch feast of fresh apple cinnamon donuts and fried chicken. We also hit up Anastasi Seafood for fresh fish and yummy cocktails. On our last day we rode bikes along Schuylkill River Park with the new Philadelphia bike share program, Indego! My Kipling tote was perfect to carry around my camera and all my essentials and I love that it has a zipper top to keep everything secure on the go.
