I have been a fan of Longchamp for a long time. For me their bags always represented an accessible luxury, that’s simple yet chic. When the brand asked me to help them celebrate their 20th anniversary of Le Pliage, their iconic bag (reaching over 32 million sold!) with the launch of Le Pliage Cuir (leather) customized, I jumped on the opportunity! I had the pleasure of visiting their flagship location in SoHo to create my personalized bag. It was such a fun experience seeing and feeling the leather and customizing each element of the bag. For an effortlessly fun look, I choose a vivid orange-red for the body of the bag and bold pink for the flap, handles & strap. You can even customize the interior lining – I chose a rich navy blue. My favorite part, however, was the monogram. I chose to have ‘Rach’ a tribute to my blog on the front flap. It’s so fun to customize your own bag, it was tough for me to land on just one design. See how I wear the bag below!
To highlight the bold color of the bag I choose a neutral look with a mix of blue, black & brown. This look is a perfect for chic travel since the large size of the bag makes the perfect carry-on (not to mention no one’s going to confuse it for theirs!) I had so much fun creating this bag – I would recommend it to anyone! Try out the personalize tool on their website here.
