It’s official: Fall has arrived in the city. After a few weeks of Indian summer, the temperatures have finally dropped to the perfectly warm yet sweater-ready. In anticipation for full-on autumn, I took myself out shopping. I picked up this great frenchie-chic ‘Filles and Garcon’ sweater and high-rise black jeans with just the right distressing at Madewell. I also splurged on a pair of high-quality booties from Rag and Bone (with a little help from a Saks gift card). I’ve been lusting after them for years and after season after season of disposable black boots, I finally invested in this luxury pair. The leather is so supple, and I can feel them molding to my feet with every wear. Red lips and red nails remain my staple combination and for now, I’m mixing my Mac Lady Danger with Russian Red for a deeper rouge with a hint of orange.
