Another year come and gone. I cannot believe that it’s been a year since I was celebrating 23 in Brooklyn with my best friends. Here I am again, another birthday in the city. I decided to splurge on the perfect pink party dress from Kate Spade (it’s on sale here!) and I don’t regret it a single bit! PS: How cool are the huge gold mylar balloons – I got them at Village Party Store! As for the fete, I took Friday off and spent the day getting my apartment ready to have a little dinner & drinks party with my favorite people. Alex was the perfect boyfriend and took care of all the food, we had a yummy taco bar with carnitas. chicken & steak plus guacamole, salsa & corn on the cob. My best friend Michelle prepared the “Martino Mash” a dangerous & delicious cocktail of watermelon, lime & tequila. It felt so grown up to be able to really host a get together. In the end there were 9 of us and it was the perfect celebration.
