Recently I’ve really fallen in love with the East Village. Alex started working at Ninth Street Expresso so on the weekends, I go visit him towards the end of the shift and we take a long walk through Alphabet City & the East Village. It has a unique charm, a mix of characters all its own. We always end up in Tompkins Square Park, one of my favorite New York green spaces. The people watching is perfect and the evening summer air is somehow calming and energizing all at once. When the sun sets, it casts the perfect glow across the park and I fall in love with this city all over again.
