I’m currently in denial that it’s near freezing in the city, despite the fact that it’s Mid-April. Walking in Central Park is one of my favorite spring activities and it’s spring gosh darn it, so I will enjoy it even if I’m cold. I was recently gifted this amazing oversized yet chic watch from Kenneth Cole to use as inspiration for an upcoming outfit post. I was struck by the femininity of the beautiful rose gold color and crystal embellishment paired with the strong masculine shape. For this pseudo-printemps look, I echoed the sweetness of the watch with an eyelet dress from Asos. To recreate the ‘boyfriend’-esque element, I added a bit of edge with my Mango faux-leather jacket with boyish motto sleeves and opaque black tights. For a ladylike finish, cue the bezel embellishment of the watch, I’m wearing my trusty J. Crew black pointed pumps. I was a bit under-dressed for the weather, but I love this look. Now, here’s to sweet sunny days ahead and more walks in lovely Central Park.
