I can’t believe another year has gone by. 2013 certainly passed in a New York blur. I’ve started to feel at home in my new city, despite it’s quirks, inconveniences and freezing temps. It felt like the first true adult year filled with my grown-up job, bills and responsibilities yet equally unadulterated fun and excitement for the future. Plus, I met someone pretty wonderful. So here goes: 
January: my first real New York winter. Not much to say but brrrrr!
I took a leap of faith and left my number to a cute barista that I know call mon cheri!
February: My first real fashion week: exciting and exhausting.
An Easter jaunt to sunny Nashville to see old friends (and adorable pups!)

Took my new love on a ride to Coney Island (12 miles / 19 km) Exhausting but so worth it!
July: So happy to have spent some time back in California with my family (here on 4th of Juy!)
During that trip, I had the pleasure of seeing my cousin get married in a lovely outdoor ceremony
Spent my birthday (August 9th) with my parents in Long Island for my second cousin’s wedding
Celebrated 23 years of happiness back in Brooklyn with my favorite people
Impromptu visit with my cousin who came to the Big Apple after her high school graduation
One-year work anniversary at Origins!
September: Had the incredible opportunity to meet Julie & Pauline, both high inspirations to me during Birchbox Sample Stop at fall fashion week in NYC
