I was so excited to collaborate with Macy’s on their MyStylist program at Herald Square. I’ve never had a personal styling session before so it was really fun to experience the one on one attention of a professional stylist. Before the appointment I emailed with my stylist who asked me to fill out a questionnaire about my body type, favorite pieces to wear and my color preferences. When I showed up to the session my stylist had already chosen several looks based on the latest trends for me to try on. Scroll down to see my three favorite outfits and which one I decided to bring home.
Sorting through the rack of clothes chosen by my stylist.
The first look was very 60’s mod featuring a Sleeveless Mock Neck Dress from Rachel Roy, booties from Marc Fischer and a fringe bag from Vince Camuto.
The second look was more boho chic with a bit of 70’s inspiration with a long sleeve dress (similar) from Free People and a vegan leather jacket also from Free People.
The last look was a traditional fall look with a twist. The red and black plaid top is from Kensie and the vegan leather skirt is from Free People.
I decided to go with the final outfit. I loved the cut of the plaid top with the fitted vegan leather mini skirt. I also splurged on this adorable yellow bag from Coach with a matte black chain. I love the overall look, it’s so of-the-moment fall and easy to transition from day to night. Be sure to check out the MyStylist program at a location near you.
