As the summer starts to wind down, I’m seizing every weekend to enjoy the sun and the city. How amazing that this year, we have 5 weekends in August! My best friend Amy was in town this weekend visiting from Chicago and we had so much fun. We hit the stores, we ate Shake Shack and on Sunday we went to the Jazz Age Lawn Party. Set on scenic Governor’s Island, the party is an enormous “prohibition-era” gathering celebrating the roaring 20’s in style. I found a sweet little gingham dress at a vintage shop in Williamsburg and paired it with my Seychelles Mary Janes and danced the day away with my very dapper date. Sadly, I forgot my camera battery, but we captured what we could and I will always remember it!
