What’s more quintessential summer-time than this pink polka dot look? My unrelenting passion for polka dots only gets stronger once the sun comes out. (See some of my favorite polka dot looks here). This dress has the perfect retro sensibility that’s a hint kitsch, but also totally chic. You can wear it as a halter, or remove it for a fabulous strapless look. My accessory for this look? A ripe watermelon. Have I told you guys I’m obsessed with watermelons? Alex has been shocked by the sheer volume of watermelon I can eat. Like half a watermelon in one sitting. I have really fond memories of my childhood when I would hear the thud of my Dad cutting up watermelon, and I’d run down the stairs to get some!
