Keeping up the blog (and YouTube channels) while working full-time can be a challenge. Making my wardrobe play double-time between work and play? That’s a challenge I love solving. For this look, I started with a polka dot pencil skirt with gorgeous draping that I scored at a consignment shop and paired it with my favorite kitschy tee from Milly. Graphic tees are having a serious moment in my life from this new edition to my ever-loved Brooklyn Brewery tee, and a new ‘HeyY’all’ tee you may have caught a glimpse of on my Instagram, I can’t get enough. I love pairing unexpected combinations like a traditional pencil skirt with a very cheeky and casual tee. For the office look, I dressed up the outfit with a blazer from J. Crew, an oversized rose gold watch, reading glasses, my darling Marc Jacobs work tote and ladylike heels. Note: this tee’s message not approved by human resources. For the Friday Night Out look, a ditched the blazer for my rad Express moto jacket, added a gold studded bracelet, tied up the shirt to show a hint of skin, and broke out my new minty pumps from Cole Haan. So let’s go out tonight and apologize tomorrow.
Lipstick: Mac Lady Danger, and yes some of it ended up on my teeth. C’est la vie.
