Aubergine has recently become my new favorite color to wear. It’s also coincidentally the name of one of my favorite songs by Lady Lamb the Beekeeper. First I bought the hat during my Thanksgiving vacation, then I found this amazing Cole Haan shoes on sale at HauteLook.com. For my first blog post in Manhattan, Jeff and I shot a couple blocks from my office at 57th and Park Ave. For the outfit I paired my aubergine pops of color with a two-in-one coat from Gryphon, my favorite high-waisted skinny jeans and oversized scarf from Urban Outfitters. Isn’t the soft glow of Christmas lights so lovely in the city?
